To help hospitals meet the needs for providing accurate and effective evaluation and development of resident physicians, MPPS has created a unique web-based tool. The multi-rater process provides a valid and reliable assessment of residents along the ACGME/AOA competencies. The tool also gives Program Directors tailored intervention plans to help improve resident performance based on assessment results.

This tool is meant to be used as an annual, or bi-annual assessment of resident performance. Its goal is to compliment the other tools that are used to evaluate residents.
